Shizen Energy Appoints a New Director

2020.09.01[NOTÍCIAS]

On September 1, 2020 Shizen Energy Inc. (“Shizen Energy”) established a new director position and appointed Kumiko Isono to the role. Kumiko Isono has been a longstanding contributor to the growth of the Shizen Energy Group.

In the nine years since the Shizen Energy Group was founded, its renewable-powered energy generation business has surpassed roughly one gigawatt (as of the end of December 2019) in generation capacity. The Group now employs roughly 260 people and has expanded its operations to nine countries. Kumiko Isono has been a driving force in building the organizational framework of the Group as a whole, from launching the O&M (operations and maintenance) business to formulating human resources strategy and instilling the company culture. The aim of her addition to the executive team is to further strengthen management and drive additional business growth.

Regarding the organizational change, Kumiko Isono said, “With increasingly larger expectations in society for the role of renewable energy, I am delighted to be able to take on this new role in an organization with so many like-minded people. Shizen Energy has been in business for nearly a decade now, and as the breadth of our business itself has expanded we have also formed connections with an ever-growing number of customers, partners, and participating crew members. Going forward, I’ll do my best to establish an even greater organizational framework.”

Shizen Energy will be actively hiring diverse, talented human resources from around the world, while accelerating efforts to create a 100% renewable-powered planet by giving them the playing field to conquer new challenges as “we take action for the blue planet”.
