2021.10.12[Projects]

juwi Shizen Energy Inc. (“juwi Shizen Energy”) completed a 14 megawatt (DC) EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) project, namely “LS Miyagi Matsushima Power Plant ” and started its commercial operation.

This power plant is constructed on an approximately 360,000 m2 sized former quarry located in Matsushima-machi, Miyagi Prefecture, commissioned by Green Mega Solar LLC., an SPC wholly owned by Takara Leben Co.,Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo/ Representative: Kazuichi Shimada). The annual output is expected to be approximately 17,960,000 kilowatt, equivalent to the annual electrical power use of about 5,700 households(*).

juwi Shizen Energy is currently proceeding construction amounting to a total of 426 megawatts of combined peak output, which includes “Azuma Kofuji 1 Solar Power Plant” (100MWp(DC)) and “Pacifico Energy Sanda Mega solar(121MWp(DC)), two of Japan’s largest scale power plants.

juwi Shizen Energy will continue to leverage the knowledge and experience it has accumulated through its global operations and aim to contribute to the increased use of renewable energy and the construction of a sustainable society both in Japan and overseas by providing EPC solutions that meet the needs of the local areas in which a power plants are constructed.
