Shizen Energy reduces basic fee for corporate customers during the business suspension request period

2020.05.14[Notification]

Shizen Energy Inc. (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Representative Directors: Ken Isono, Kenji Kawado, Masaya Hasegawa, hereinafter “Shizen Energy”) will reduce the operating expense charge from Shizen Energy’s Electricity basic fee for its corporate customers who are suspending their business activities to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirous (hereafter, COVID-19).

With the aim of supporting our corporate customers who co-promote renewable energy by using natural energy sources, Shizen Energy has decided to apply the reduced basic fee for corporate customers who are suspending operations of their stores and facilities for the extended period of time due to COVID-19. Shizen Energy will reduce the operation cost charge (business management fee), which is equivalent to Shizen Energy’s profit share, from the basic fee to ease the corporate customers’ financial burden for the electricity basic fee that continues to be incurred as a fixed cost when businesses are suspended.

Energy, including electricity, is closely tied to our lives and businesses. Shizen Energy has always been working with our partners in Japan and overseas to solve a variety of problems, while envisioning to contribute to a happier life and lasting happiness of the people to whom the energy is delivered. Through this measure on electricity, we will help our corporate customers tackle COVID-19 outbreak impacts and continue building happier lives.

Together with all our partners who share our purpose “we take action for the blue planet” and use and spread renewable energy, Shizen Energy is committed to continue creating a 100% renewable-powered planet.
