Shizen Energy Inc. (Shizen Energy, we, our) is engaged in the business of power generation from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and small-scale hydroelectric power plants (IPP), business development, financing, asset management, and electricity retailing for individuals and corporations. We recognize that the protection of personal information, personal numbers, and specific personal information of our customers, business partners, and employees is an important responsibility. Therefore, based on our philosophy of personal information protection and the code of conduct we have established, we fully recognize our social mission, and we shall comply with laws and regulations regarding the protection of the rights of individuals and personal information.

In addition, we hereby declare that we have established a personal information protection management system to realize the following policy, and that we shall make company-wide efforts to continuously improve the system while always being aware of the latest trends in IT technology, changes in social demands, and changes in the business environment.

  1. We shall acquire, use, and provide personal information in an appropriate manner, and shall not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purpose of use. In addition, measures shall be taken that this is ensured.
  2. We shall comply with laws, regulations, national guidelines, and other rules regarding the handling of personal information.
  3. We shall continuously improve the security system of personal information by introducing management resources that match the actual conditions of our business in order to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information by taking reasonable security measures. In the event of a security breach, we shall promptly take corrective measures.
  4. We shall respond promptly and sincerely to complaints and inquiries concerning the handling of personal information.
  5. The personal information protection management system shall be reviewed and improved continuously in a timely and appropriate manner considering changes in the environment and actual conditions surrounding the company.

【Notification of the Purpose of Use of Personal Information】

Shizen Energy Inc. (Shizen Energy, we, our) notifies that it shall use personal information within the scope of the following purposes of use, in accordance with Article 21.1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Personal Information Protection Act) and A.3.4.2.4 of JISQ15001:2017.

Purpose of use of personal information

・Your personal information shall be used for the following purposes: to conduct power generation business (IPP) for    solar, wind, small hydro and other Shizen Energy power plants; business development and financing; asset management; retail electricity business for individuals and corporations; implementation of software products and cloud service business; after-sales service related to these businesses and others; and to introduce new products and services.

・Personal information of those who inquire about our various businesses is used to respond to their inquiries.

・Personal information to our shareholders is used for communication, provision of various information, etc.,
shareholder management, and related and incidental operations.

・Personal information of our employees for personnel management, business management, health management,    security management, etc.

・The personal numbers of our employees and their dependent spouses are used for the purposes specified by law.

・Direct applicant information to the company for hiring purposes

・Information of personnel of subcontractors is for the purpose of skill verification, and for provision to the contractor.

・Information of job applicants from the Public Employment Security Office and private job information websites is used for recruitment purposes.
